G.R.O.W.T.H

G.R.O.W.T.H model has come into existence out of the lived experience of an international student immigrant. What sparked the idea of coming up with the framework was her discovery around what it takes to succeed and push boundaries to live up to one’s full potential while juggling study, shift jobs, financial pressure, and visa uncertainties, especially when you are thousands miles away from home and trying to find a place in foreign land, hoping to build a promising future. Let’s take a moment to revisit what this acronym really means:

G Ground Yourself: In times of stress or confusion, come back to yourself. Regain clarity, reset your emotions, and realign with your values. When you ground yourself, you reconnect with your values, your strengths, and the reasons you do things in the first place.

R Reflect on the Real Issue and Outcome: Reflect on your journey so far. Ask the deeper questions. What’s truly going on? What’s the outcome you’re working toward? Self-awareness is power. Reflection is incredibly powerful to see possibilities beyond the limits.

O Organize the Plan: Once you understand the issue, start mapping out your next steps. Break it down into manageable actions. Organizing makes things look do-able which would otherwise look like big scary leaps that you can easily lose your hope in achieving.

W Work the Plan: This is where change happens. Consistent, focused effort toward what matters. No plan is going to work, until you have worked the plan. This is where you bid farewell to procrastination and brings courage to the table to work your plans.

T Track Progress: Don’t wait to evaluate until the end. Celebrate small wins, tweak what’s not working, and stay accountable. When you track your progress, you build momentum and notice what’s working and what’s not.

H Harness Momentum: Use progress to fuel further growth. Once you have achieved your goals, use that energy to keep moving. Bring the same energy to push you to new levels, to guide and uplift others, and to build a life of purpose.
