Susie Chhetri, is an international student herself. Originally from Nepal, Susie arrived in Australia in 2018 with big dreams in her heart but uncertainties in mind. She encountered countless struggles in early years of her journey abroad but eventually, she discovered a way to turn the things around. Susie brings valuable insights and tools together through her own lived experience, and this movement The Rising Edge is a heartfelt offering to those who are walking on a similar journey and need it the most.

Susie says “I always had a deep calling to help others and offer something back to this community. I have been mentoring students for past several months, and this journey has never been more meaningful. The work that I do with students and young professionals truly fulfils me and I am committed to do this with utmost dedication. I do not do this as an authority, but as a friend and as a guide who have been through the same journey and now is willing to show a way forward.”

Susie believes this journey abroad isn’t just about surviving. It’s about thriving. She has led this initiative with so much of love and care for all the international students in Australia like yourself, hoping to support and inspire you to unlock your edge and thrive.
